I originally wanted to do portraits for my series but when i went out to shoot i decided i wanted to take pictures of different textures. feeling is a sense that i think we take for granted and there are so many strange and interesting textures all around us, which is why im excited to do this project. my camera is especially good at close ups and focus so i think it helped me alot when doing my first draft.
great photos! i love how in each photo, you capture the texture of an object or scene that you would normally just overlook.

ReplyDeleteGreat job Emma! This is a very unique idea and I really like how you were able to capture specific patterns within various textures. I especially like the last picture in the series, which truly demonstrates your essential idea of focusing on detail through texture photography.

ReplyDeleteI think you have a great idea here. The last two photos really make me feel the sense of texture. However, all of these photos have the same "bright" mood, and I would suggest experimenting with light to create a diverse array of emotions.
